New Zealand residence visas.

There are mainly three categories – Skilled migration, business migration and family migration.

You can apply for residence under the skilled migrant policy if you have a job or a job offer from a New Zealand employer. You may qualify without a job offer if you have completed a two-year New Zealand qualification (Masters/shortage list). You may also qualify if you have qualifications and/or work experience in the areas of shortage.

If you have a job offer from a NZ employer, you can apply for a work visa or a work permit.  To work in Newzealand  you need either a work visa or permit or a residence visa or permit.
